Salah satu rutinitas Sekolah HighScope Indonesia Bali adalah menyelenggarakan Project Exhibition setiap termnya. Jadi, ketika menunggu orang tua datang, just make a little fun thing, take a pic guys!!!! :D hehehehehehehe
Project Exhibition merupakan puncak acara di mana setiap siswa menunjukkan dan menjelaskan setiap project yang telah dibuat selama term berlangsung. Project-project tersebut dapat menunjukkan apakah anak telah menguasai topik yang diajarkan atau belum.
Setiap project yang dibuat terlebih dahulu mengalami proses yang disebut PDR. Apa itu PDR? PDR adalah kependekan dari Plan Do Review. Plan, di mana sebelum anak-anak membuat project, mereka menggali berbagi sumber serta mempelajari tentang topik yang akan dibahas untuk projeknya.  Selain itu, mereka juga mulai merencanakan akan mau membuat apa. Yang jelas ada BIG QUESTION yang harus dijawab anak dari projek yang dia buat sendiri. Do, mereka sudah mulai mengerjakan projek mereka, termasuk mendesain, mengumpulkan bahan-bahan dan membuat projek itu sendiri. Review, setelah projek selesai, anak harus dapat mencoba mencari kelemahan projek yang telah dibuatnya kemudian memperbaiki kelemahan tersebut.
Berarti bisa diambil penilaian juga kan di sini? Of course, di samping menilai pemahaman anak terhadap konsep yang diajarkan, guru juga dapat menilai keterampilan anak dalam menyajikan projek yang telah dibuatnya. Di samping itu pula, keterampilan anak dalam berkomunikasi dapat diassess juga karena setiap anak harus menjelaskan secara orally tentang projek yang telah dibuatnya.
Well, hopefully setiap anak bisa menjadi pemenang di setiap Project Exhibition yang diselenggarakan di Sekolah HighScope Indonesia Bali. So, We are the champions. :D

Math Week Event

Geometrical Sudoku Board Last week SHI Bali had Math Week Event. This event was started from February 5 to 9, 2018. This event was conducted by teachers under principal supervision. Students, teachers, and parents were involved to this event. Math week event was held to build the sense of Math to us. " Math is everywhere" , we'd like to give experiences about mathematics to all of us through this event. Within a week of school days, we did lot of activities related to Math. One of the activity was Math Game. Math teachers provided some math games for the students. Students reviewed or learned math by doing the game. This activity could be a strategy for the teachers to make math become fun and interesting. Here I post some pictures when the grade 8-9 students were enjoying Math Games during Math Week Event.
